About Me
My name is Autumn, and I have been teaching second grade for six years. In this short time, I have seen many of my fellow teachers leave the profession to find new jobs. I began to wonder why teachers leave after the first year or two of teaching and what can be done about it. This blog will explore why people go into education and how they lose interest and get discouraged. I will also discuss how to know if teaching is for you before you make the long commitment involved in becoming certified to teach. Teachers need to help each other through the stresses and complications of their jobs. I hope to do just that.
